RECOMMENDED PHONE APPS!

I suggest a number of apps that are a great adjunct to therapy. Some are free and others require a payment. I only ever recommend apps that I have used and found helpful myself. I do not receive any special benefits for recommending these - I just really do think they are helpful!

Introductory mindfulness - Smiling Mind - everyone should have a go at this app it is really incredible and FREE

Self-hypnosis for relaxation and sleep - HypnoBox - The Hypnosis App and Self-Hypnosis Revolution - there are several free guided hypnosis recordings here that you can listen to, I personally use these when I am having difficulty with sleep, relaxation, or even motivation. To be honest, the free version is enough for most users.

Want to cut back or stop using alcohol? - Reframe: Quit or Cut Back on Drinking, Build Healthier Drinking Habits (reframeapp.com) - I cannot recommend this app enough. There is a free trial period and then you need to pay - but for any mental health app I have ever accessed, this one is WORTH IT! think of how much you would save not spending money on alcohol and freeing yourself of unhealthy coping mechanisms! Reframe is one of my very favourite apps.
